MAGNUM drop shot fishing for Largemouth Bass

A magnum drop shot is basically a Power Shot/ drop shot on steroids. It’s used in areas where the Power shot/ drop shot wouldn’t cut it. You will fish it around structure like Tree branches, Weeds, Grass, Stumps and much more. When fishing it depending on the bait you use you will either drag, crawl it slow or giggle it. Now you can use baits ranging from 7-12 inches in all kinds of lake conditions. You will tie this rig by tying the hook on with a Palmor knot about 6â€-2’ above the weight.

A Quick tip on saving Money using lead Bullet weights

A simple way to save your rig and gear but lose the weight is to take a lead bullet weight and peg it with a tooth pick on both end below the hook and when it gets stuck it t will pull off your line. Another Benefit is when you rig it nose up it will dance more when you wiggle it while keeping contact with the bottom
