TFT Southern California Weekly Land Based Shark Report:Ventura County:
Ventura continues to be dark as far as reporting goes. Rumors of the hammerheads showing up to the north are circulating! Get out there guys and give it a go!
Los Angeles County:
LA county has had steady bat ray action, with some smaller threshers still trying to stay in the count! This time of year is usually much more productive, perhaps the warmer water is taking a toll on the local fish?
Orange County:
The OC is still on top with a crazy hot streak of biters in the area. Thresher activity, the occasional Great White, and even a juvenile Hammerhead made the count this week! Seas finally laid down and the bait paddlers were rewarded with some high quality fish on the sand! Gotta love that stand-up tackle action West Coast style!
San Diego County:
Oceanside is seeing some steady thresher action lately, a welcome change of pace for those guys. The bonito and even yellows are keeping it interesting for the shore jiggers as well. There have been some Seabass hooked as of late as well, all good signs!
