TFT Southern California Weekly Land Based Shark Report:
Ventura County:
Still lots of action out in VC! Threshers back at the piers, mostly smaller fish but still fun! The surf is back to normal, batrays and leopard sharks entertaining the local crew well enough to keep them coming back. No signs of the Sevens though, but that is typical summer pattern.

Los Angeles County:
LA county has been on a roll with the smaller bottom dwellers. Bat Rays and Shovelnose are on the menu big time! This week they added threshers back into the mix, lots of smaller grade fish being hooked on the piers, a couple of nicer fish were lost as well. Get out and get bit!

Orange County:
The OC has been quiet on the larger game, but leopards, smooth hounds and shovelnose are on tap. The pelagic bait finally arrived with a good showing of bonito down in south county. That’s usually how the season starts! Get out and get bit folks, its going to be a good one!

San Diego County:
Threshers back on the menu in SD county as well. Bonito are around for those that want them, and a few soupfin showing up on the piers as well. Sevens seem to have moved out into deeper holes as they do when the warm water shows up, but you never know! Big tide swings this week so get out and give it a shot!
