Everglades Fishing Action
The weekend was getting near and Mike and I decided to hit the Everglades. The weather has been very hot and we wanted to hit the Everglades for some hot fishing action. We loaded up Mike’s skiff, a beautiful Hewes Redfisher with all our fishing toys. The rods and reels were loaded with Bullbuster Braid, our tackle and some food and drinks for the long hot and humid day. We were ready for a hot day of fishing! We stopped and loaded up with some nice live shrimp and pinfish hoping for some good snook and redfish action and whatever else was hitting out there. The morning was beautiful and the sunrise was epic as headed out to our few first spots. We arrived at our first spot and Mike put the power pole down and we immediately started to see some action on the water. We started throwing some artificial plugs around to see what would hit. I did not take long before a nice snook hit the top water plug. After a nice run and a few jumps I brought the feisty snook to the landing net. After a few pics we released the beautiful snook back into the water. We kept fishing the points working artificial lures in pinfish and ladyfish patterns and live shrimp and landed several jacks and some seatrout.
