Awesome Night Fishing Off The Miami Coast!
Hey Guys this is my first fishing report, me and 2 friends left on "The Reward" that leaves from Bayside in the night trip. We were excited because, it was our first night trip and was a beautiful calm night. We headed to the reefs and went around 50 feet of water. So when we stopped at the location it started slow till we started to throw the chum over, we started catching grunts in the beginning then slowly started catching Yellowtail Snappers but they were to small about 10-11in but size was 12in which got me a little upset. Then came in some Sharpnose Sharks that started eating our fish and hitting our bait so later on we moved on to another spot.
Later on when we moved in to another spot where we caught huge Grunts that were like 9-10in big they were huge! Then I Caught about a 4 ft Sharpnose shark also some more Yellowtail Snapper but smaller like 8-9 in since there was smaller fish, again we moved to another spot for the last 30 mins of the trip but really didn’t catch much there. People started catching Blue Fish but I didn’t catch anything but Grunts and one small Yellowtail.
