Offshore Kayak Fishing Report
Here on Oahu we had a pretty decent early season bite this month March, of 2016, usually the action doesn't pick up until late April to May. There were some nice catches that were being made throughout the week with live bait. However the day I chose to fish was a rainy, windy day making kayak fishing tough to say the least. I ended up getting lucky in unfavorable conditions with a nice 36 pound ahi to save the day caught on 50lb braid, it was a good way to start my season and I look forward to the rest of the season. Aloha!!
