Winter Shark Fishing From The Beach
This was a cold night indeed. But the cold weather didn't stop Jesus and Jonathan from hitting the beach and putting out some big baits. Jesus had just spooled up his new International 80W with fresh 130LB Bullbuster Monofilament. On this night Jesus's 80W is the shortest drop. After several quiet hours the 80W gets hit. Jesus lets the Shark eat and then he is on.
Jesus with the Hammer caught on 130LB Bullbuster Monofilament Fishing Line

It's a very good fight and they think it may be a Hammer. As it gets closer to the beach Jesus and Jonathan see that tall dorsal fin of a Hammer. Jonathan gets the tail rope and gets the Shark onto the beach. They keep the Hammer in shallow water take a quick picture, remove the hook and send the Hammer back on its way. The Hammer swims off strong. Jonathan and Jesus are very happy as they fought the cold conditions and managed to catch and release a really nice Hammerhead.
