If you haven’t sat at a table with friends and family snacking on blue claw crabs you are missing out. Blue Claws have a sweet tender meat that can provide for a great meal.
After having a few inquiries about it we decided to add a crabbing trip to the 2019 season.
We will use a few different methods for catching crabs.
These don’t require any netting. It is simple as dropping them down filled with bait and coming back to them later. This allows us to cover more area to catch more crabs.
Using a drop line is one of the more difficult ways to catch crabs but it can easily turn into a fun game. The main idea is to hook on a piece of bait and drop it down giving it sometime to draw in the crabs. Then one person will slowly pull up the line while a partner will be standing by ready to scoop the crabs holding onto the bait. This can be a little tricky for someone that’s never done it before but makes for a great time with lots of laughs.
These trips come with everything you need while crabbing. All Crab Traps, Drop lines, Nets and bait will be provided.
Trips are priced for 6 people max. (No exceptions)
6 hours- $300
8 hours $ 375
Packaged Snacks (Chips, Crackers, bars etc.)
Non-alcoholic drinks (soda, water, Gatorade, etc.)
Even though the following items are not included on crabbing trips feel free to bring them.
