February Blacktip Migration Gets Wild!
The first day out the waves were massive and I could see the sharks riding in the big waves. Unfortunately I was unable to kayak out cause it was so rough, but I kept at it and we finally got one hooked up casting baits.
My dad decided to stay another day hoping it would be better and it was worth the stay. The next day we got there and the wind had died down some so we got all set up and I started paddling out fresh chunks of cuda. The first bite came pretty fast but the hooked pulled, not to long after though we got hooked up and landed a nice tipper.
Its weird how they are some times because they were being pretty picky bait wise, its a good thing a had fresh bait that day cause the frozen they would not touch. We ended up having a great trip to the beach and landed 5 blacktips including this big one with bite marks as are last catch of the day. Hope you all enjoy the post.
