Night Fishing For Sharks!!
Hit a beach recently with Jonathan and my oldest son Chiqui. We were able to set up very late in the afternoon as the sun was going down. We put out 3 Solid Baits. Just after the Sun went down Jonathan’s 80W with the biggest bait gets picked up as solid as a hit can be.
No hesitation on this Shark. Jonathan is hooked up and he has a Nice Fish on. After a good battle, we see the Shark approaching and it’s a Big Bull Shark. She measures at 8’4. Big hefty Bull Shark. We remove the hook and off she goesback into the deep.
Several hours later it was pretty slow and then my 14/0 gets picked up. I set up and it’s on. This Shark is charging a lot and going back out as well. We see the Shark and it’s a Nice Lemon Shark. She taps out at just under 8ft. The rest of the night is quiet. We are happy to have spent a beautiful night doing what we enjoy with family and friends and we managed to catch and release a Big Bull Shark and a Really Nice Lemon Shark.
