About Me

Here at Double Threat Charters, we target everything from tailing bonefish in 10 inches of water to 500 lb pound swordfish in 2,000 feet of water. Our rides include a 20' flats boat as well as a tournament rigged 43 foot sportfish. These boats coupled with extensive knowledge of inshore and offshore fisheries give us the versatility to target anything that swims in our area.

We fish at a tournament style pace as we attempt to out-fish the fleet on a daily basis. Regardless of what we are targeting, we fish the lightest tackle possible and make the most elusive gamefish a reasonable target for even the most inexperienced anglers. As full time captains, we fish hundreds of days per year. Everything from our twin diesel engines to the last hook in the spread are put to the test as a result.

We have been using exclusively Bullbuster fishing lines since 2012 and have nothing but good things to say. During the testing phase we started off skeptical but any doubts have been put to rest. We have since caught swordfish to 400 lbs, sharks to 350 lbs, tarpon to over 100lbs, hundreds of sailfish, countless snook, redfish, permit, amberack, kingfish, and many more species on this line. Whether it be 20lb braid on a light spinning combo or a 80 lb monofilament crimped to a grander leader, Bullbuster has us covered.
