Capt. Brandon Jacobson

About Me

Thank you for visiting my Bullbuster Community page!! My name is Brandon Jacobson and I am the owner and Captain of Lucky Dog Charters. We operate from the Port of Kenosha Wisconsin. I have twenty five years of experience fishing the waters between Chicago Illinois and Milwaukee Wisconsin of Lake Michigan. Our charter service provides the opportunity to catch a number of species including Chinook (king) salmon, Coho (silver) salmon, Lake trout, Rainbow trout, and Brown trout. Our season runs from the months of April to October where we start in the spring catching large numbers of tasty Coho salmon, and Brown trout that average between three to six pounds. As the season continues into the warmer months of June and July the Rainbow trout and Lake trout catch starts to increase along with increasing numbers of Chinook salmon. As the fish continue to eat large numbers of prey fish the size of our sport fish increase to an average between ten to thirty line peeling pounds. We incorporate a number of different trolling techniques to land these monster fish from flat lining,  down riggers, planer boards, and dipsey divers. In the process we use a number of different Bullbuster fishing line including monofilament, fluorocarbon, & braid along with lead core, copper, and steel fishing line. If you have never had the chance to fish the waters of Lake Michigan it's a must add to anyone's bucket list of must do's!! See you on the water & tight lines. Captain Brandon Jacobson
